These tea cups become softer the more you use them. The special technique that Japanese craftsmen in Seigado use gives it a unique texture.
The pattern of sakura in the blue sky is drawn by using a technique called Icchin, in which lines and patterns are drawn by putting slurry or glaze into a dropper and squeezing it out. This technique gives it a unique three-dimensional effect.
